Memorials

A memorial release is a beautiful addition to a funeral service.  With a moment of silence, a single white bird flies away into the sky with all eyes looking towards the heavens.  Psalm 55 says “Oh that I had wings like a dove!  For then I would fly away and be at rest.”  The practice of releasing doves at memorial services is a powerful yet gentle reminder of our beloveds spirit flying away to a gentle rest.  Memorial releases are handled with very little interruption in your memorial planning.  We need only a day’s notice and a simple selection from our three most popular memorial options.  Our memorial release options are:  The single release, the Holy Trinity release, or the joining release.  The Holy Trinity release represents the Trinity and is done by announcing each bird and then allowing them to join together to take flight towards the heavens.  The joining release is a popular option for a family member who is passing on to meet their loved ones who have preceded them in death.  The joining release starts with the release(s) of a bird representing those already passed and then concluding with the release of the recently deceased.  Unless there is a special request by the family to handle the release, we will handle all of the details so that you will have time to be with family.  A simple yet elegant white lily bouquet or elegant cream colored cross is included with the pedestal setup.
